Mejale:
Typical Mejale clothing, on the other hand, can be quite ostentatious. While this rule
doesn't hold true for all Mejale (the military and other authority figures tend to dress modestly), you're likely to see a
lot of variety, with emphasis on bright colors and daring styles.
The Mejale have a much more appetizing view of food.
Their society has retained the methods of preparing food used commonly on Earth prior to the colonial days. As such, they
maintain proper kitchens, and cook large, full-course meals for themselves. (You can imagine how liberating Mejale food must
be to Taraak men!)
Mejale cities, by comparison, are filled with towering spires-- when they're not suspended
in orbit, as the one pictured in the upper picture is. They're beautiful, elegant, well-lit structures. As you can see, each
society has really developed its own aesthetic themes.
The Mejale side of the story is a little less outlandish, though
no less heated. They contend that the men completely abandoned them, taking the best parts of the ships and supplies and leaving
the women to fend for themselves. As such, the Mejale society views the Taraak with more contempt than fear. Which side is
right? Time will tell.
